About Us

Welcome to Antwerp Spartans, a dynamic American Football team founded in 2019 with a clear mission: to develop high-level American Football in Belgium. Located at Albert Einsteinlaan 50 in Antwerp, we focus on growing the sport through youth development and a strong emphasis on inclusivity. We believe that diversity is a strength that contributes to both the development of our players and the growth of the team.

At Antwerp Spartans, we provide a safe and supportive environment where every player has the opportunity to develop and make a valuable contribution to the team. Our commitment to quality and training has already paid off: players like Nour and Jesse have made the leap to international careers, with Nour playing in America and Jesse active in the highest European league, the GFL 1.

Our core values are reflected in our motto: “Beat Yesterday.” This means that we challenge every player to improve themselves daily and set higher and higher goals. With us, everyone is welcome, regardless of age, gender, body type or experience. Whether you are a seasoned player or new to the sport, at Antwerp Spartans you will find a place where you can grow and share your passion for American Football.

We have also recently set up a flag team for seniors and are in the process of establishing flag teams in the region around Antwerp. The first of these teams will start soon in Boechout. This expansion is part of our broader vision to make American Football more accessible to even more people in our community.
